Blue Sunprints are gorgeous and easy to make. Blue Sunprints are natural photography without a camera using the cyanotype photographic process. You can create any design imaginable. Use objects such as leaves, flowers, toys, photographic negatives, hand drawn or computer images on transparencies to create inspiring Blue Sunprints.
Just place your chosen object on the ready-to-print material, set in the sun or in any UV light source for a few minutes, then rinse in water. Each Blue Sunprint made is original.
Blue Sunprints offers sun-sensitized cottons, silks and watercolor paper for sunprinting using the cyanotype process to produce a "prussian blue" image. We use only 100% natural materials that can be toned to yellow, brown or lavender. Blue Sunprints are not only beautiful but are non-toxic and archival.
